my philosophy for motivation, determination and achievement
Remember a time in your life when you felt excited about each new day. You were in tune with your passions and had tons of energy to take on new challenges. You can be that person again- we just need to find your ignition point. Your ignition point is your key moment, when through our work all the pieces come together and you feel the changes that need to happen to light you up again. Once you feel that energy, you will be so motivated to change you will not be able to sit for one more minute in your current state. The fear of change will dissolve and you will be strengthened by a determination to become yourself anew. I am here to support you in your achievement of this state of being and help you overcome the road blocks you face along the way.
Our sense of nourishment comes from the food that we eat, but also from other factors in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a rewarding sense of purpose, and daily movement in our bodies are all essential to nourishing our bodies, minds and spirits. We must integrate all of these aspects of our lives if we are to achieve optimal health.
Food is intimately integrated into every aspect of our lives. We all have a relationship with food which has been developing since infancy. Your food choices are influenced by multiple dynamic forces-psychological, social, cultural, economical-that ultimately determine what you put on your plate. No one makes the same choices for their health for the exact same reasons as anyone else. This is why your issues need to be addressed individually- you are unique and deserve special attention. In our work together, we explore how your lifestyle affects your health, and what your sticky points are, and also what your strengths are that will empower you to make the shifts you need to reach your goals.
Instead of creating lists of restrictions or good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create a plan that is flexible, fun, and rewarding so that achieving your goals is simple! Whether you want to achieve an optimal weight, reduce food cravings, sleep better, maximize energy, or reduce the symptoms of an illness, I will help you get it.
